Public transport

Basel-City is about 25km away and can be reached by car on the A18 in about 27 minutes. The S3 from Laufen station in the direction of Basel SBB runs hourly with a journey time of about 26 minutes.

Laufen offers a wide range of leisure, sports and educational activities. Many clubs are pleased about new members. In summer there is an annual open-air cinema, in winter it is the Laufener Fasnacht. Laufen is also the starting point for many hikes in the surrounding area.
